Jacqueline Dow
Director

I love to explore the funny side of life whether I’m on set helping you execute your scripts or at home talking to, for, or about my cat. Stylish glimpses into absurd everyday moments and character comedy are my specialties. Jacqueline Dow is a writer, director, and producer based in New York City. She has produced work for organizations such as the UN and NRDC, among others. She has also produced independent films, which have premiered at SXSW and Dances with Films.

As a director, Jacqueline’s filmography includes commercials, web series, short films, and pilots. Her commercial work was awarded the Porsche Award and has been shortlisted by the AICP. With her pilot, Little Hope, Jacqueline was a finalist in the 2018 HBO Access Directing Fellowship. ‘Now is Not the Best Time’, a web series she recently directed, premiered at Slamdance 2021. Jacqueline and her directing work have been included in the Director’s Guild’s New Director’s Showcase, ITVFest, Slamdance Film Festival, HollyShorts, Sidewalk Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival, Mammoth Lakes Film Festival, The Lower East Side Film Festival, and more. She received her MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
